Leroy Neiman, born in Minnesota in 1921began his art career as a friend of Hugh Hefner and illustrator for Playboy.
His renowned artworks and serigraphs feature iconic sports stars and sports venues, such as Ali and Frazier, Madison Square Garden and the Kentucky Derby.
Many of Neiman's works celebrate large animals from his safaris. We present a few of this memorable serigraphs below.
